Kampung simply means village. Every now & then, Hubby & I will visit our parents in Malacca, Malaysia to enjoy a much slower pace life than in the city of Singapore. Though it's not a city, it certainly is a lot of fun!

Green..green..green.. This is what I've been waiting to see.
Abah & the paddy field.
Back inside, I am making tepong gomak using glutinous flour. Quite easy lah..
Flatten the dough using your palm to medium size.
Fill the dough with green bean paste, roll them into a ball & boil @ boiling point.
You can take out those that already float & cooked.
Roll them over the green bean dust.
The traditional kueh tepong gomak.
In the evening, while waiting for isya' prayer call, mak recites the Yaasin.
Abah too.
Reading translations.
Chatting with mak.
Hey! Can you see the cat's eye on the roof?
Posing in the morning.
Ubi kayu @ tapioca.
Mana satu ubi, mana satu kayu mak? ehehe..
Grating the coconut.
Siapa tatau makan ubi memang rugi..
The masterpiece. Ubi kayu rebus dicicah dengan kelapa+gula.
